follow the progression of socialistic policies and where do you end up. I am well aware that he is a socialist. I am also well aware that such policies lead in the direction of communism and not towards capitalism.

The Scandinavian counties haven't made the leap to communism, in fact there are instances of capitalism in those counties. But, keep fear mongering. I don't like the polices because they wouldn't work here, you seem to hate them because you're still suck in 50's
