David Patrick has been on staff for at least 3 years. He played high school ball in Baton Rouge, college at UL Lafayette and his first coaching job was at Nicholls.

And yet he could have went to UK, gotten way more exposure if that's possible, been playing for the SEC title, and a possible run in the NCAA tourney. Wonder if he second guesses his decision at this point?

Taylor Zarzour on SIRIUS was asking this very question the other morning.
The ole Maravich's dad just happened to become the LSU head coach dipsy doodle cause if I remember right I believe he was West Va. bound ( he idolized Jerry West) and the Press hiring of course changed that.
