Yeah he needs to pump the brakes about being a top 15 cfb program (especially Auburn 
) over a top 3 cbb program but at the same time no one wanted UConn during conference expansion even though they've been one of the elite programs for like 20 years now.

UConn, while having a successful program, doesn't even come close to being as valuable as Kentucky basketball. And fwiw, they didn't field a D1-A football program until 2002, of course they didn't spark a lot of interest from the big conferences.
