Because his pimp had a grudge against state and ole miss types. I also think he lived just outside of Hattiesburg and he was going to get his his no matter who came along or where he went. This is going off old timers speaking from years back. *Differ to Diamondawg on this one.

Even though OU was Big Eight, they might get as well have been a SWC school on the level of cheating.

Interesting. Makes since considering the "reverend" was trying to sucker him into USM after Dupree left OU.

Just hard for me to believe the 2 biggest state schools didn't have enough pull to overcome the preacher pimp
