The part when a basketball coach does the most work is between games. Making a gameplan and getting it through to the players with limited amount of time. During the actual game it is mostly just making subs and hoping your players execute the gameplan correctly while you call a few set plays depending on your style of play and you make adjustments to what the other team is doing at halftime.

honestly, do you people even watch basketball? have you never noticed the near constant communication going on between the bench and the floor? in both college and the nba? do you think the coaches are just cheering them on? good lord.
