But he's in his 70s. Won't coach there long. Murph is just getting started. He could coach another 20 years at Alabama. He's not even 50.

How many players do we have returning next year? That '12 team had a ton of experience.

both of Myers sons are his asst coaches. They would be primed to take over for him dont you think. AU is a power in WCSB for years to come. We will be too but right now they are on top. We need a stud pitcher as right now we have good but not great.

Myers is 64 and has said he wants to coach at least to 2020. While Murph has done great things for Alabama, it is at least a little troubling that he has seemingly fallen behind an instate rival that had never won a regional until last season.
