Welcome to ACC football

While ACC football sucks outside of two/three teams, perception is reality. For many people, ACC= basketball while SEC= football. It's just the way it is.

Now, if the SEC gets 4/5 teams in the tourney and they all start wrecking shite, then maybe that perception will slowly be augmented.

That's my point. The SEC in hoops is known by outsiders as Kentucky and everyone else. When Kentucky is down, the entire league gets a bad rap, even when it's not justified.

The same argument can be said about any league in any sport where they aren't the traditional power. It might surprise folks, but they play basketball outside of Lawrence, Kansas, Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, and Lexington, Kentucky.

That could happen.

Remember how everyone kept saying what a down year it was in SEC football this past year ... but they stfu once the bowls got underway and the SEC dominated overall.

Of course there were the excuse makers who said we got favorable match-ups.

The SEC will not dominate in March, but we'll surprise some people in the post season IMHO.

I think six teams make the dance and we end up above .500 by the time all is said and done as a conference.
