It depends. One problem the NCAA has always had is they don't have a "framed" set of you get this for this penalty it's all subjective. It's never across the board the same for everybody.

If it was a fishing trip, free meal, free trip to a strip club then loss of 5 schollies and suspend those players involved for 5 games and forfeiture of games those players were involved in.
If its money that changed hands or gifts that "would exceed what you would normally get from your parents" (this is a rule they use to quantify the gifts or money) then it loss of significant schollies, bowl ban and maybe 3 years probation and forfeiture of games they participated in. If it's gonna go like I think and what I've heard, not proven but heard happened and the NCAA wants show it's muscle again it will be similar to our 2002. Close to 30 schollies, bowl ban for a year, limited to recruiting half of the time that other schools can do it and the release of coaches involved. Probably a monetary penalty as well. Remember, we didn't even get charged with LOIC. The committee praised us for our efforts, cooperation and the self-imposed penalties we instituted. Then they said "however, this committee feels the self-imposed penalties are insufficient and have added additional penalties". Those self-imposed things and cooperation get you a pat on the back from them but when your caught, why would not self-impose? Everybody does that. If you agree there are problems AFTER the NCAA starts checking it out you're too late. You should have had better compliance. They will praise you for cooperating but the damage is done and after they pat your back they put the knife in it.

I know this for a fact. If they investigate you this long and release a formal investigation and get on your campus, it won't be good. I think Ole Miss gets hammered. Just think the NCAA has a lot and would love to get people's respect again. Here's the opp they have been looking for. That's not fair to Ole Miss but the NCAA answers to no one and operate as they see fit. If they get hammered with 25 or 30 schollies, they wn't win more than 6 games for probably 10 years.
