What the frick else would they do, stop recruiting altogether? Freeze resigns and turns state's evidence?
It's more likely that they know what's coming and are staying the course knowing that, if by some hail mary miracle they manage to pull an Auburn, they'll have a recruiting class waiting in the wings.
