I wish I could remember who I heard on the radio last night. Freddie Coleman maybe. One of the more level headed guys, basically saying the same thing. Just wait til his teammates see that on film, they won't appreciate it.

I am sure they wish he would jump on the ball. I am also sure they wished their RT would have touched a pass rusher. I am sure they also wished Ginn had gone for the endzone instead of running out of bounds. I am sure they wished Tolbert had decided to avoid the tackler instead of plowing him over and fumbling the ball. I am sure they wished Cotchery had caught a damn ball

There's plenty there for them to not appreciate. This one play is not going to have him lose the locker room. That's the part I think is dumb

It wouldn't have mattered if he jumped on the ball or not. They would have something say about him. If Peyton wasn't so old no one would have knew anyone else even played in the game besides Cam.

I agree - that was an overblown opinion on GMc's part and just dumb.

The problem with that is two of those examples don't show a lack of guts or willingness to put your body on the line for your teammates. The other example, Ginn, is nothing new. Anyone who's watched the NFL 5 minutes knows he's a pussy. I think Cam's instinctual shying away from contact will have some long term ramifications. The press conference stuff? That's nothing. Most of the players hate the press, anyway.
