Who you got?

LSU is clearly the most talented team but I think we match up well. Our perimeter defense is going to give your guards issue as we basically pick you up when you cross half court. For whatever reason, I don't think LSU plays that smart of ball and if we can force Quarterman and Blakeney to keep jacking up poor shots it'll play into our hands.

I got us winning a very close one by about 5 or so.

Idk that I would say they have the most talented team. Most talented player is undeniable.

I think this is every LSU fans fear whether they admit it or not. What gives LSU trouble year in and year out is disciplined teams which USCe is. We'll go through defensive lulls every 5 min or so as usual unless we just come out laser focused. I got you guys winning by 6-8. Also think it could be a look ahead spot for the rematch with A&M.

Bad matchup for LSU, really.

They should be able to take advantage of our lack of post depth. Also, they rebound it VERY well. Have all season.

Unless we just have a really great shooting game (on the road, not likely), I really just don't see us winning this game. I would say it could be a double-digit loss, but they don't have the offensive firepower to beat us that soundly, I don't think.

Gonna need a big, big game from Simmons if we're going to win this one. I think South Carolina wins and covers the spread.

Think we win in a close one, probably by 5-6 pts.

I am not really impressed with USC. Home court advantage may be the deciding factor but if this was on a neutral court I think LSU would be favored.

Gotta go with the home team in this one unless TQ or Tone go for 20+

For whatever reason, Simmons has played a bit better on the road as a rule. Having seen the Gamecocks a number of times, I think they'll do a better than average job of slowing Ben down, however if that's at the expense of perimeter defense, the Tigers have enough firepower to forge a win regardless. I would guess both teams will bring their A-game and the home-court edge will lend itself to a 3-5 point victory for USC unless Ben has a Vandy type game.

what LSU team shows up?

the team know for half-assing it for 10 minutes a game?
the team where Simmons leads the team and is aggressive?
the team that manages to get Victor and Simmons in foul trouble early?
the team that gives up 15+ open 3 pointers a game?

it's going to be a really tough game, in a tough environment against a well coached seasoned team. LSU will need to play their asses off and catch a few breaks along the way to get a W.

Should be exciting with the amount of talent on the floor nonetheless

USCe by 3 because of home court. If Blakeney has finally found his stroke though give me LSU by 2.

I think it ends up being a good game for both sides, but I've gotta give the edge to LSU.

If LSU had a HC worth anything they would be scary good andvery well could turn into a basketball and football school IMO.

Ben Simmons and his supporting cast are fun as hell to watch. I'm impressed with what Martin is doing though as well in Columbia. Looking forward to checking this one out

Keith Hornsby is the guy to watch from lsu, He opened it up last game and had a good game. Last year he was lsu's best player on the road so if him and simmons have it going we will be tough to beat. Hopefully we stay out of foul trouble and can force sc to shoot the ball

I'd love to see LSU somehow pull this one out, but it doesn't look good for us. USC is legitimately a better team, IMO, plus they are a particularly difficult matchup for us and have the home court advantage. As much as I wish I could, I just can't see a path to victory for LSU in this game. I hope we can keep it respectable, but honestly I'm not even confident of that.

You're pretty accurate. But if they both catch fire, which they have shown they are capable in the past 3 games, I think LSU wins this one. With that being said, I don't see both of them going off on the same night.

Never really have under Jones. Yet, he's still 3-1 against USC and Martin.

USCe hits FT's at the end to pull away and win. I expect a really good game
