Don't forget about the 9 players that left after spring practice last year. That number is 10 if you count BB. As a result of that mass exodus, 4 walkons were giving scholarships last August. Two of those walkons were seniors, so they are gone.
One of the Marks brothers is on scholarship, while the other is not. I think Gore was a walk on.
Based on the walkons getting scholarships last year, we know Bama was at least 4 under the 85 limit. Possibly more.
With the playoffs adding another game to the schedule, I think the NCAA should at least increase the limits to 90.

I did not include any player that was not on the roster from the fall. So Barnett or players that left in the spring I did not include but had Gore as I was not sure but he is currently listed on our official roster as still with the team.
Cornwell and Bateman who are also listed I included as part of the 6 juniors leaving
