They have the ability to change their mind you know,
Not if they fired the guy. He's an excellent recruiter and on field coach. If that guy was fired it wouldn't be for something you can "change your mind" about.
And where would he go that LSU wouldn't match (other than a DC role somewhere)?
It's likely just a dumb rumor like so many others that begin with someone wishful thinking and then other people running with it. This one simply makes no sense. If it doesn't pass the logic test then it's usually not true.

One thing that I've learned in following recruiting and coaching situations under Saban is that it really IS fluid (annoying as the over-usage of that word may be) quite often with him. I've never seen anything like the changes from month to month in who's ranked where on the recruiting board (if the info that I read is correct).
And on the coaching staff front, I feel confident that the info is correct that Saban told Kiffin BEFORE the 2015 season to be looking for another job at the end of the season, and that things changed. Kiffin asked for another year to get things straight, and Saban believed in him. Things change. Dealing with 17-22 year olds is a dynamic situation, not a static one. Things change quite often.
This isn't necessarily to criticize you, or even in comment to the specific issue you're discussing. It's more just a general observation.
I don't know what to think of the Sark info that's been out there for the past couple weeks. We'll just have to see how that plays out.

You can be "let go" without being fired........they simply tell you that after a certain day, you will not be employeed. If this date is AFTER the EE's are enrolled, well good for LSU. Like the guy said, it's hard to post what we know without posting everything. If you want to dispute everything, I won't bother to argue......I'll keep posting what I can, and let people interpret it how they will.
But Bama has told several recruits that LSU's current plan is for Raymond NOT to be coaching there next year.
