They have the ability to change their mind you know, especially when Bama caught wind of this and is told Moses and Stevens this information. LSU, now that the cat is out of the bag, and they feel it may cost them Stevens and a chance to flip Moses, could change their mind and retain him.

The plan was to get through early enrollee's coming on campus, then making an announcement. Wasn't told if Coach was fired or possibly taking another job, but either way, it was all about lying to the kids. Like I said, now LSU has to decide what's best for them, let him go and miss out or retain and hopefully get two 5 star recruits.

And the 4 year thing was simply a "hypothetical" showing that things change. Like Miles staying on last year..........

Not if they fired the guy. He's an excellent recruiter and on field coach. If that guy was fired it wouldn't be for something you can "change your mind" about.

And where would he go that LSU wouldn't match (other than a DC role somewhere)?

It's likely just a dumb rumor like so many others that begin with someone wishful thinking and then other people running with it. This one simply makes no sense. If it doesn't pass the logic test then it's usually not true.
