specifically the 85. With Allen, Jackson, and Howard all coming back and the transfer WR, I was curious how many we got and if anybody else is going to be asked to pursue other opportunities.

Right now, we have 89.

We were at 64 pre-signing day 64. Walker Jones is out and Christian Bell is in. .

We signed 25 (some already on campus) so 4 of the 89 will not be there sometime in August.

If Coatney or someone else signs, we'll be 5 over.

Steve Wiltfong thinks we still lead for WR Jeff Thomas. He released a top 6 today.

I don't have a link but I think I read he hung it up because of chronic injuries. I could be wrong.

At any rate, he's no longer on the roster and didn't participate in Spring drills.

Awesome news. He's my favorite WR in this class. Outstanding agility.

A little late but: for Tua

And this is for Saban's DL coach hire, never ceases to amaze me how well Saban does in terms of staff hires. He knew he needed a strong positional guy to replace Bo (who had done a fabulous job, sad he had to leave) on the field and hired one of the strongest in terms of the scheme, that there was available (I wasn't interested in Rocker, who has been sort of a 1-scheme guy, or Kiffin's brother who has been less than impressive in talent development at OM). He will be an awesome addition to the defensive staff.

Tua is lucky that he didn't get the short end of the gene stick and end up 5'5" or something seeing the pic of him and his Mom and Dad they are both pretty short

A DL coach hasn't been hired yet. Al.com jumped the gun. Saban said in yesterday's conference call that interviews were still taking place. But I'd wager it's probably going to be Karl Dunbar.

an Alabama native, from Woodberry Forest (Va.) back in February.

Hereford has since made it down to Tuscaloosa twice for a visit, most recently for A-Day.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound prospect talked about last month’s trek to T-Town with BamaOnLine, his last visit before enrolling at the University later this month.

“It was awesome,” Hereford said. “I felt a little bit better coming back after visiting times before. It was fun; I got to visit with my future roommates for the school year and mess with the other signees for the 2016 class. It was a lot of fun.”

Hereford will be living with three other preferred walk-ons in quarterback Montana Murphy, from Southlake Carroll in Texas; receiver Giles Amos from Westfield School in Georgia; and long snapper Scott Meyer from Blessed Trinity Catholic in Georgia.

I didn't know about these 3. I'm gonna try to find some profiles and film on them.

We got a CB for one of the guys we offered yesterday.

He's a DE out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. He's 6'6" and weighs 215 pounds.

Jordan Wright Highlights

I haven't watched his film yet so I can't comment on his ability.
