I remember 2-3 people at the fraternity house insisting from around December 1 - his hiring that we were going to get Nick Saban, and by the time we all went home for Christmas I was on the verge of killing every one of them. I (and everyone else) just couldn't take anymore of the sunshine pump/let down stuff anymore.
And then it happened and it ain't been the same since.

No one knew it would be this good. Saban's status wasn't that much higher than RichRod's at the time. Oh man.
