Obviously the depth chart looks a little rough, but this is Kirby's call. He's said that they aren't gonna throw out last minute offers. Honestly, I looked at the Top247 and the quality for not just DT's, but the DL in general, just really isn't there. Not because we aren't in play for anyone, but it's just a fact. Many that are listed as DE's are probably more of OLB's for us, IMO.

If we are unable to flip Soloman, it's a blow for sure, simply because he's at a position of need. I saw somewhere he had stated he wasn't even from Georgia, was born in California, so he really doesn't have that desire to stay home. That being said, with the way his recruitment has gone, get him on campus and all bets are off, he changed his leader every time he visited a school.

Soloman is supposed to visit Auburn this weekend, we shall see if he shows up. 3 star DT Phidarian Mathis from LA. was at Kirby's camp but I don't know how high UGA's interest is, 247 is showing he does not have a offer from us. David Marshall is another I think projects on the DL for us.

I don't expect Smart to just throw out last minute offers for the sake of doing so, and honestly it's not even last minute yet. They will work on Solomon throughout the season I'm sure. But like you said the DL pool for this class and next isn't really that deep. So I would expect them to have a couple of project guys that they are going to evaluate as the season progresses bc thet definitely need 1 de and 1 dt for this class to meet thenumbers that they have talked about.
