LSU doesn't have the bats to make it to Omaha this year, IMO. What's crazy is if they did manage to get there, they have the pitching to dominate the CWS.

I am so tired of hearing this. First off the unknown does not equal not good. Secondly if the last 5 years have proven anything great pitching can overcome average hitting as long as the hitting is timely. Any team out of the top half of the league can get hot at the right time and make Omaha.

You should probably stop watching sports then. Experience is a factor at every level.

You know who tends to have "timely" hitting? Experienced guys that have seen a lot of at bats.

No one here has said different. Won't =/= can't.

I know a lot of people on this board struggle with that concept though.

I agree. Jake Fraley will get em out the park often I think, and with the pitching staff, 1 solo homerun may be enough to win quite a few games. Also, LSU does not replace, we reload. We have alot of JUCO transfers who have hit against decent pitching, and while I do not believe we will be playing Gorilla Ball this year, I do think we will get guys on base, and across the plate.
