Paul Finebaum's Greatest Crime

Of the 20th century was the killing of MLK. He said this on his show on MLK Day. He's also said several times on his show that his father gave him a record of all of King's speeches & he "still gets teary eyed when hearing them". Note that this is the bama voice of the SECN. And, no, I did not hear him, a friend did.

OK?
He's from Memphis and has always gone above and beyond to give Dr. King the respect he deserves on MLK day. I don't see the big deal or problem.

The entire 20th century seemed like one long never-ending crime. Hard to pick MLK when Communism killed 100,000,000 and Nazis and Japanese Imperialists ran roughshod over half the globe. And then there was the atrocity known as disco...

We're not off to such a great start this century either. One day humans might learn that most of us all want the same things and that there's ways to make it work without engaging our depraved sides but I'm not holding my breath.

Actually, he is the Tennessee voice of the SECN. He simply identifies with Alabama because of its history and previous jobs he's held.

You shut your whore mouth. Finebaum deserves a statue for that day.

Finebaum's greatest crime is all the money he steals from ESPN and SECN

Paul Finebaum didn't kill MLK Jr. Please stop spreading lies.

He's right in a way. It seems like the African American community lost its way after King was killed. King was always a proponent of work, education, discipline, and civic participation.
The culture in today's black community seems to emphasize entitlement instead of the principles of Dr. King's lessons. It's a shame.
King would have dome tremendous good if he had lived another 30 years.

Thank you. I was starting to wonder if I was the only one who realized OP accused finebaum of assassination.

I was thinking this just earlier today. I go from optimism to extreme cynicism. I really believe most people just want to have a good life and take care of their family and friends. At the same time, I feel it almost inherent in human DNA to be greedy and covetous. I think if the entire world was composed of nothing but atheists people would find some other rational to keep hating and trying to hurt others. Same with race.
I have faith in individuals, but as a collective I have very little confidence in people.
It was a tragedy that MLK was murdered. It is a tragedy that so many people are murdered for trying to live their lives and make things better for themselves and others.
Sorry for the rambling, it is just a heavy topic.

You might want to reword this. It sounds like Paul Finebaum was admitting to gunning MLK down. I'm not saying he did, I'm not saying he didn't, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have admitted it on his show unless his ratings were flagging really badly.

I mean besides, Finebaum's true greatest crime was killing Princess Di
