SEC schools got $22+ million a piece BEFORE we had an SECN and $31.2mil after the SECN revenues started rolling in. Does that mean the SECN only netted each school about $9 million?

Only? Only!?
The PAC 12 network (which is older and more established) brings in about 4 mil per team.

The SEC schools received around $22 million each before the SECN and $31.2mil after the SECN. The SECN didn't net each school about $9 million.
The first year of the CFP increased the post season revenue by around $80 million for the entire conference, which amounted to around $3 million for each school for the 2014-2015 year.
Add the $3 million (CFP revenue) to the $22 million (SEC T1/2 revenues) and get roughly $25 million. The difference between the $32.1 and $25 million is attributable to SECN revenues, which is roughly $6 million per school. The conference media revenues increased around $100 million, which was divided by the conference members. That works out to around $6 million per school per year.
$6 million per school was what the SEC member school made off SECN for the 2014-2015 year.

False. Mike did sign a bad 2009 deal, but we are here because of the business mode for a conference network that the B1G created.
Blame the Yankees.

$455.8 in 2014. 527.4 in 2015.
That's not more than 60% greater.
The $455.8M was not for 2014. It was what the conference announced would be the payout for 2015, although it was apparently announced before the end of fiscal 2015.

I made that last week.
Oh wait this isn't the OT, so the SECN not only improved the viewing experience and options for the main SEC sports, it also made us all lots of $$$.
I guess we can put up with the Yankees and the Aggies then.

So... that 31 mil per school should be divided evenly among the players. I mean Jalen Tabor went way too far but its a bit ridiculous that the schools get nearly 32 million each just from this revenue source and the players don't get a cut.

never mind the cost of doing business. How many AD's turn a profit in the NCAA? its not that many. The ones that do, arent rolling in it, that much(yes they are still making millions), but they also have to address all the other things that the players demand(facilities, coaches, food, insurance, ....)
