They are getting a lot of mileage out of beating TT in the bowl game, I'll say that. This Dave Aranda hire has them buzzing too. I don't know how that will turn out. I don't remember him being much of a problem at Wiscy, and that was BEFORE our offense settled in but they will say the same as they did for Steele and that he will have better talent so...anyway, hope springs eternal. Good for them.

We can only be optimistic and hope to have a better season set up by our best juniors staying around for the first time in 6 or 7 years and what should be an upgrade at DC.

Why wouldn't we be optimistic? Wouldn't you?

And as far as QB, we'll see if he puts in the work this summer or fears losing a QB battle to one of the other guys. Either way, should be better than your team.

This is a funny comment that plenty of Bama fans have made since the hire. The problem is Wisconsin had a total of 4-4 star and 0-5 star recruits in his 3 years there and he still turned in defenses ranked 9, 9 and 2. LSU's talent pool is a bagillion times more loaded than anything he's ever coached. There's legit reason to think he will walk into the LSU situation and field a top shelf defense despite what anyone tells you.
