Do you still use Facebook?

I find it increasingly rare that I am on there. To be honest, the only reason I even still have a Facebook account is so that one of my kids can play some of the games.
I still here people talk about it but it seems less and less and mostly elderly people who have just now "found" it.

Facebook has jumped the shark. I never use it, and probably will delete it soon. I don't know how I ever found it interesting in the first place, tbh.

Still have it, but haven't posted anything in about 3 years. Trimmed my friends list a couple years back to less than 100 family and friends I actually know.
I would have deleted it about 2 years ago, and still want to, but my SO says I'm not allowed to.

Facebook is for old people

I am proud to say I have never visited a facebook page, other than the odd link on TD that takes me there.

I rarely post there anymore. It was always some overrated fad to me. I don't need the whole world to know my business.

Yep. But I guess 30 is old given all the 25-30 year olds I still see on there (especially with kids).

Because FB is so ubiquitous I've set my newsfeed up to display science news. It's a great way to keep up with new developments in all of the disciplines of science.

It was the shite 4-5 years ago. I could care less about 99% of what's on there now.

Left it five years ago personally now my 80 year old Mother lives on that thing.

stopped using it 4 or 5 years ago once my aunts, uncles and grandma got on there and starting commenting on all my statuses and embarrassing me.

Got the best fb notification ever new year's eve. Apparently my younger brother and I have been fb friends for 46 years. Y2k16 bug must've struck and sent us back to 12/31/1969.

I can't still use it because I never started using it.

I got on FB in 05-06 as a Jr in HS. You had to be invited. My older siblings were pissed because it was supposed to be a college thing only. The first 3-4 years I was on FB is was great. Then once the old people got on the kids didn't want their parents to find all their party pics and drunk post. They bailed and FB ended for what it was originally used for. I still have mine but never post.

I have a business page on there and a political page (ran for/will run again for office). If it weren't for that, I would have deactivated my account long ago.

I use it but I think it's because of other factors.
1. It's *fantastic* free advertising if you want to produce a page and even pay a tiny fee to get it "boosted" to people in your area.
2. It helps me stay connected with family.
3. I like being transparent, and it allows me to beat away the countless women who fling themselves at me for my pearly white skin because I can just change my relationship status.
