1. Texas - Great cities, my only knock is that the state is too big. They need high speed rail, like yesterday. I could live in Austin. Great Tex-mex
2. Georgia - I like cities so I like Atlanta. I also like that Atlanta is a melting pot of Southerners from various Southern states. Savannah reminds me of home, so I like it there too.
3. South Carolina - I'm from the suburbs of Charleston. I hated it growing up but after living in other places (currently Connecticut) I've realized it's really a great place. SC isn't really that bad.
4. Florida - I'm probably the only person in this thread that likes Miami. Just South Florida, I can't do the rest of the state.
Everywhere else, meh.
I grew up accustomed to being able to get to the water in 30 minutes or less so I hope I never have to live in a landlocked state (Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas).

we have these things called lakes, rivers and even swimming pools and showers and bathtubs for getting wet.
i have no desire to move- i love it here but i'm a homer.
i really don't think i'd want to live in any of the sec states, if i moved, i'd move north or west. that said, i enjoy a visit but i'm ready to come home after 3 or 4 days. nola is my favorite city of the sec states, heading there in april.
