Lived in Baton Rouge and other parts of Louisiana for half of my life and lived in the Houston area for the other. Texas blows Louisiana away. Would never consider moving back unless it was in suburban Baton Rouge.

I agree, I lived in Prairieville and Mandeville before moving to The Woodlands and Louisiana as much as I love my home stats, doesn't even begin to hold a candle at the quality of life and living in Texas.
