Texas is objectively the best state to live in, and I do enjoy living here, but it just isn't home. I'd jump at a chance to move back to Louisiana.
ETA: Arkansas and Tennessee are high on my list because I love mountain scenery. Same with North Bama/Ga

I'd be fine living in any of them really, but Kentucky is beautiful and it's home.
