I made an entire thread devoted to this EXACT revelation. I'm glad to learn that we agree. SEC coaches not named Saban are free to copy Saban's methods. The problem is that Saban's methods involve spending every waking hour working, and most of your other SEC coaches are not willing to do that.

Why should they? Some of them are now wealthy beyond their wildest imagination and are very comfy with life as it is. They don't care to sacrifice the Good Life just to have a chance to win it all. The fans care much more about that than some of the SEC coaches.
