You got the win. Credit where credit is due and all that. But I've never seen a team dominate a game but collapse so epicly on special teams in the fourth the way clemson did. Forget the blown coverages... They looked like tenn with the game on the line and Sweeney looked pretty damn silly at the end of both quarters. Fun to watch though Kinda hated to see Watson's performance wasted. Dabo is definitely the second most loved coach in alabama today.
He done alabama proud, but in the end- and most importantly- he did not win the game!

The onside kick was absolutely perfect. We needed it, it made perfect sense and yet no one saw it coming. Consider that the knock against Saban was "he's not a good in game coach" and "he can't stop the hurry up spread." Well in the fourth quarter of his 4th NC at Bama when we couldn't stop the spread, he made a brilliant decision when we had been on the ropes all game and got yet another NC through his cunning and gutsiness when it looked like the odds were against us. The legend grows.

Thanks, but

Did we watch the same game? While they had 70 more yards of offense than us, we had better time of posession, and they also had a turnover, while we didnt. We were also in the lead for most of the game.

Dominate?

Hmmm...not sure about that one. What I saw was a damn good football game with great performance by both teams.

Clemson had the better offense, but Alabama had the best team. Bama's special teams, made up of superior athletes, were a major fact in the win.
