Apparently all of the Bama fans are hiding in hotel rooms and bars. No one will admit they didn't show up. Their tickets are all for sale on the net for lower than face value.

Cool.

Dude its not 80-20 lol its 50/50 at worst 55-45.

The secondary market tends to point towards a Clemson advantage as well.

Right now, on Stubhub, there are 860 lower level tickets available on the Alabama side of the field. There are just 317 available on the Clemson side.

Tickets on the Clemson side are of course selling at a higher price as well.

I think they will outnumber us but it wont be 80/20 I see way to much Bama for that. Lot's of Clemson in there they stick out like hunters lol.

Honest answer: Bama fatigue (I basically gave my tickets away) combined with Clemson enthusiasm.

Troll answer: meth crop was underwhelming this year

I know a lot of Auburn fans who spent a small fortune to go to Arizona, then went to Pasadena 3 years later for a fraction of the price.

Bama fans are still broke from the Notre Dame game in Miami 3 years ago. They are drinking can beer in their hotel rooms. Clemson is so happy to be there, they are blowing the HELOC's they took out last week because it will be another 35 years before it happens again.

In 2013 prices in the AU sections were about 50% more than tickets in the FSU section. Rose bowl was about 65% AU fans. Same in 2010 vs Oregon.

Maybe. 50% of the Gumps in attendance are murdered by other Gumps. 20/2=10

I hate to break it to you, but that's not how percentages work.

If Bama fans make up 20%, and then half of them die, they will now make up 1/9 of the fans, or roughly 11%. So the new breakdown would be approximately 89-11.

This is a shocker - I'm serious. Never thought I would see such apathy at BAMA. Again - Saban will be mad

I'm not. Went to the Battle of the Bands pep rally in Klyde Warren park and it was overwhelmingly MSU.

I was staying downtown so maybe all the Bama fans were closer to Arlington.

this has just about everything to do with it.

It's expensive combined with the fact that the vast majority of clemson fans have never seen their team in a championship while Bama fans have had the opportunity for a few the last 7 years. It's to be expected, really.

Bama was outnumbered by Notre Dame fans in 2012 by a 2:1 ratio.

It was about 50/50 against both Texas and LSU. But now we're looking at Clemson out-numbering Bama fans 2:1 again this year.

Foolishness, Bama outnumbered ND 60/40 easy. Slight edge against LSU in 2011 and at best a 50/50 split against Texas in 2009. It will be very close to 50/50 tonight in Glendale. Clemson may have a slight edge because they haven't played in one of these in over 3 decades and this our 4th natty game in 7 years. Bama fans travel as well or better than any fanbase in the country and that has been proven over decades and decades of postseason play.

Sheesh this is a business trip for Alabama in case you haven't heard ....Clemson will be out partying n having fun before the game . It will be all Crimson during and after . Have you ever tried to yell your loudest either hungover or 12hrs into a good drunk . Not peak performance #theprocess

Everything you said was correct, except LSU outnumbered us about 55-45 in the stadium. Both LSU and ND we were strongly outnumbered in the streets just like this year, it didn't make a difference in the stadium. In 09 we strongly outnumbered Texas in the streets.

I think maybe teams who haven't been there in a while tend to bring a lot of fans who don't actually go to the game.

I was in the stadium and we outnumbered ND. The street view doesn't correlate to the stadium distribution

It was 50/50 against Texas, and 55/45 or closer in favor of LSU.
