Why can't Clemson do what Auburn did?

this is what I want to know - Is Clemson watching game film? malzahn was the only coach to effectively scheme against Alabama - he just did not have the horses to compete.

and ole miss didn't try to establish a running game cause they didn't have one. the 2 minute offense, baby.

if Clemson is going to have a chance, they have to learn from those 2 games. they will not run on Alabama the way they did against Oklahoma.

I would say that's a fair assessment. But Clemson's offense has put up 500 yards in 10 straight games.

With Ray Ray McCloud and Artavis Scott both 100% after knee injuries late in the year, I'd expect to see a lot more of those jet sweeps and quick screens in an attempt to spread Bama out a little bit. Otherwise, there won't be much, if any, room at all to run inside against them.

The Clemson defense has gotten lost in the talk about Alabama's front seven, or 14, or even 21 as Rick Neuheisel said yesterday. The Tigers are right on the Tide's heels when it comes to getting to the quarterback and they're right with Alabama when it comes to forcing 3 & outs.
