The streaks Bama and UF have over UT are EVERYTHING. They symbolize the distance between UT and anything in the East, anything for the SEC overall, and any steps toward national title aspirations. But Vawl fans don't want to acknowledge the streaks and their subservience. They just want to run off on meaningless winning streaks against the weakest competition, at the most meaningless time of year, and proclaim they are ready for the big time. Vawls aren't even ready to compete in the East.

Perennial offseason champs but during the season, they are nothing but collapsing losers.

We get it. Why would we want to talk about losses that don't mean anything to our next season or future of our program? It's that simple
