Apparently it was NOT boosters that forced Hyman's hand, as those very connected to the university were surprised by this. Boosters DID push him to put out the vote of confidence in Sumlin, which maybe pissed him off I don't know. Honestly given what little I know it looks like Sharp is the puppetmaster behind this action, maybe unilaterally.
