So the playoffs attempt to give the big 12 a charity invite worked out, right?

Despite having the same number of wins as ou Stanford got kicked to the curb.

Playing politics to kiss the big 12's arse when they clearly didn't have a playoff worthy team was plain wrong and I hope they don't ever make that mistake again.

Stanford would've done soooo much better against Clemson . McCaffrey and Watson would've been fun to watch

Stanford had two losses and lost to fricking Northwestern. How the hell did they deserve a bid?

I hate how people wanted to give Ohio St (during middle of season) the edge over other teams b/c OHST won the NC last year. Well guess what? Last year's OHST team is different from this year. Same for all other teams in college. Every year is different so no team or conference should be given the benefit of the doubt based of last year's performance (SEC included).

I feel like that is why Mich St got in. I got a co worker who was said he was gonna be pissed if Mich St got left out of the playoffs....well I think he now rather wishes that they did get left out b/c then he could at least argue the "what if" game.

damn if I don't agree with you. a first.

the big 12 is the worst of the 5 conferences and they don't have a championship game. they need to add two more losers and add that game.

plus; you know, big game Bob strikes again.

Not surprised that they did this. They only did because Oklahoma is a brand name. If it was TCU in the same situation, Stanford would've been in.
