The BCS got it right most of the time, but the playoff is a welcome change. It's not without issue, though. Look at last year. The best team, TCU, didn't even make the playoff.

Honestly everybody knew who was going to win both of those games pretty quickly and you're right TCU didn't even get an invite last year to the dance.

I wish teams would just go to ten game seasons and have a full playoff schedule in December with the final today every year.

End conference championship games that's a dud overall anyway.

TCU would have beat Bama or Oregon, but no one was beating Ohio State last year.

I mean there are multiple years you could argue it didn't. You can't use after the fact reasoning so you could argue:

08 Texas over OU/UF
11 Okie State over Bama
06 Michigan over UF
07 about 7 teams over LSU since there were like 10 2 loss teams

Obviously some of those teams who would be "left out" wont he national title, but they would have absolutely had a chance in a playoff as well
