Cook is a plus player for MSU with the caveat being that he has to be healthy or else he is actually a major liability for them.

Simply put, without a vertical threat their offense doesn't have a shot. If they trot out Cook and he looks like he did against Iowa I don't see how they have a chance to win without a huge advantage in either turnovers or special teams. The reason that game was close is because he is too good to bench, but was too limited that day to go down field with his separated shoulder so Iowa just run blitzed their safeties and dared them to throw (he couldn't).

That said, if he is healthy and their banged up line can keep him clean (big if) he is absolutely the best QB we will have seen all year and they are capable of beating us.
