I hope so.

Look, I know it's normal for coaches to be given at least 3 or 4 years in CBB before they are shown the door but after what I've seen against power 5 opponents in Kim Anderson's short tenure so far here at Mizzou.....I just don't see how that can happen. I mean, It's that bad. Words can't describe what I'm seeing out there on that court.

I was hoping for some type of improvement from last season but somehow we've gotten even worse. There is no excuse to be this bad no matter what your roster looks like.

I know it's not my decision to make but let's face it, we both know how this relationship is going to end. You can't tell me he's going to develop a team next year that will be good enough for him to keep his job. If we couldn't improve at all after last year, why should I think we will next year?

This guy is clearly in way over his head and he honestly shouldn't have been given the job in the first place.

1) He can't recruit. How many 4 and 5 star guys did we miss that were right in our own backyard this past year?

2) He can't keep his players under control. How many players have we lost the last few years because of transfers and disciplinary problems? He has failed to keep kids interested in the program. He struggles to develop his players into good men in addition to half decent basketball players.

3) He can't coach these kids up in general to be ready to play competitively in a game against a P5 opponent. We have a team out there that looks like they don't give a shite and have no game plan. It's just embarrassing at how ill prepared and armature this team looks. Yeah I know, they're college kids but it honestly doesn't even look like they're a division 1 level CBB team. They can't compete against teams that are supposed to be at their level.

I say we fire him after this season. If I'm Mack Rhoades, I'm taking out Mike Alden's trash and starting to look for a new head coach right now while Kim Anderson finishes up his last season here. Not next year, not next month, not next week, not tomorrow, right now. Like I said, we both know how this relationship is going to end if we keep him around another year. No point in wasting everyone's time and keeping him around another year just to fire him after next season anyway. Keeping him around another year will only be another year of added rebuilding time for Mizzou basketball. He's obviously not the guy so let's just move on and start the rebuilding process over again with a serious head coaching hire this time.

Let's hope, but probably not.

Although I wouldn't be shocked if KA gets fired after this year if Mizzou isn't more competitive.

Who is the last Mizzou coach that reeled in 4 or 5 star Missouri kids. Haith didn't, Mike Anderson didnt. Probably have to go back to Quin to find a Mizzou coach that also recruited well.

When you see a program not show any signs of progress after 2 years, and the fans are apathetic it's time to make a change. I supported KA when he was hired, not anymore. I don't even bother watching games on tv, except for maybe a few minutes. I just don't think he is the solution to this mess.

I am not sure how MR could retain KA at this point. The only way it might be justifiable is if this team goes on an extended winning streak. Which I just don't see happening.

If the season finishes the way the trajectory is headed, then YES he should go. Rhodes did not hire KA so there should be no loyalty forcing hi to hold onto him.

The reasons I think he needs to go is that the team does not hustle, they don't play with any passion, they don't defend well and they are soft. These are all reflections of the coach and they are character traits of teams that finish in the bottom 25% of the league every year.
