You know what? Screw it. Open the Mizzou vault, go find Stormin Norman and drag his winning arse back to his court. Watch the difference on coaching philosophies. This program hasn't been a REAL Mizzou program since he left.

Hey it worked for Kstate football bringing back Bill Snyder.

Part of the blame goes to the Norm loyalist though. He took a lot of heat previously for not hiring Kim so I thought all along he was hiring Kim this time around no matter who was available.

quote:

the Curse of Dip shite Alden

He had cash and a chance to hire a good coach, and instead, being the jerkoff he was(actually he was more of a slimy used care salesman) he tried to low ball agents/coaches and ended up with a hot mess in Haith.

There were several coaches looking to bolt, and he low balled everyone of them.

Haith is and was always a bad hire.

Could some one ask Kimmie English, or Frank Haiths cheerleader, how larrinega is winning at Miami? Haiths kids are long gone. He said Wins=Haiths kids. lol

Don't mean I want a Norm disciple (another KA). I want the real Norm back. I don't care if we have to prop his arse up in a wheelchair. I want Stormin Norman back!

Here's some brutal honesty for you: Mizzou has never been an elite program in anything other than maybe Wrestling.

Please don't imply that the basketball program was once elite. That's laughable.

Mizzou has been good to really good at times but never elite.

Um, it's impossible to block CHUCK NORRIS punches. Just can't. All you can do is shite yourself and get knocked out.

One of my favorite Norris films was "Silent Rage". That dude creeped me out when I was younger. Kind of had that Chuck Norris meets Jason or Michael Myers feel.

Somehow Chuck's bravado escaped me. Something about a dyed beard and a dead muskrat covering his bald head trumped his tough guy persona.

My favorite is still Lone Wolf McQuade

When he and Kung Fu get together at the end, and then Kung Fu beyatch slaps his daughter. Then the Music plays, and Chuck deals out an arse kicking.

I support him in that I'd rather him win from here on out. I don't defend him because the results aren't defensible

Firing him after this year would be a huge over reaction. This man needs to rebuild a program that has had Band-AIDS thrown over it since Norm Stewart left. I'm sorry most fans on here don't like the fact, that while he isn't winning games, he's making these players better men. No one wants to win more at MU then Kim Anderson, hence the fact that he making peanuts. I hate losing more than anyone. I've wanted to fire Gary Pinkel years ago bc while he was good, he wasn't great. MU can be great but it will take many years. It's been hard being a Mizzou fan especially since my alma mater has won 5 D-2 National Championships in football and basketball is improving with 2 sweet 16 appearances with a coach who was bad for the first few years and fans wanted him gone. Let him do his job.

You really have no evidence of that. It's the narrative of "white, country, disciplinarian coach." It's just a narrative.

And I want to win more than Kim Anderson. I know this because our basketball team sucks and he thinks they're not giving enough "effort."

If you think $1M is peanuts, you and I have different definitions of peanuts. I could hire an etiquette and a life coach for much cheaper than that and get better results on the floor, too, by rolling the ball out there.

I believe in giving a good coach a little more time but Kim is bad. Really bad. He should have never been hired. And to say he wants to win more than any one else I don't buy. There are times he appears to be disinterested in what is going on. This was just a terrible hire and we need to depart ways. I wish him well.
