3rd gang related murder over the last few weekends.

At least double that amount of people have been shot, but came away with non life threatening injuries.

Mechanicsville/Lonsdale neighborhoods vs The East side neighborhoods has turned into a shite show. Those parts of town have always been rough, but it's turned into a little war zone recently. Sad, RIP to the kid from Fulton HS who was gunned down while shielding 3 girls from gun fire last night.

FWIW, It sounds like somebody retaliated almost immediately, as the main guy(1 of 3) behind the shooting on the kid from Fulton was gunned down and murdered in his own car about 4 hours later.

I'm a little less than 5 miles away from the first shooting. Hope they get this shite cleaned up

Gang problems here in Chatt can get pretty bad too, but ever since the terrorist shooting back in the summer (shooter actually drove right past my neighborhood) we haven't had many if any shootings around here.

Jeez, based on my limited experiences in Knoxville with an SO who went to Bearden and fmaily is in Farragut, I'd no idea there were even "bad areas" in Knoxville.

But Baton Rouge LOLs at only 3 gang related murders, unfortunately.
