We'll agree to disagree I just think that if was truly that big of a deal, they would've done something about it years ago. The City of Birmingham has no problem taking a stand when they feel it's justified.

Birmingham was also ground zero for some pretty memorable anti-integration incidents, and not too long ago when you stop and think about it, ijs. I just think using the reasoning "well they've been up for a long time" is kinda disingenuous from a historical context.

But like you said, we can agree to disagree.

So I guess I got the SW corner on lock taking mama and MJ to the Cousins and doing it big family style.

We all pitched in to give the niece a new car since she is graduating with a teaching degree in May. So I decided to take them up there.

ETA: That conversation with Mama I got the look and the finger wave.

Oh yes, I know It seems that's mostly what my city is known for. That and our nutty mayors. The current one just got into an all out brawl with a city council member. The newspaper called it "The Slam in the Ham"

Hope you and Mrs. Tbird have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well! I've yet to see Kansas City. I'm sure I'll make it to that corner of the state at some point.
