I didn't particularly care for a national radio promo for a bowl promoting that he turned us down.

It is like running around town telling lies, eventually people believe.

Nah ... don't worry about it. Everyone knows about Rich Rod's rep, he's got a history of embellishing the facts in his favor. Just ask West Virginia and Michigan fans. No one really respects him and look at it this way ... ESPN is trying hard to promote the shitty bowl game by evoking the SCAR brand. No one is listening but consider the attempt a compliment.

Exactly, everyone needs to remember that he's a former clemson guy who was also business partners with the corrupt/banned booster up there.

quote:

A banned Clemson University booster now facing five felony counts was one of Michigan football coach Rich Rodriguez’s business partners in the failed real-estate venture that led to a $3.9 million lawsuit filed last month.

Clegg Lamar Greene, named in the suit accusing Rodriguez, Greene and three others of defaulting on the multi-million-dollar loan in May, was arrested Dec. 29 on five felony counts of breach of trust with fraudulent intent. He faces up to 10 years in prison on each count.

Jimmy Sexton knows the truth as well, and you better believe he'll be pissed at Rich Rod for doing this. Rich Rod better do welll at zona, b/c nobody is going to interview him anymore as a favor to Jimmy.
