The Spurriers were in play at one point... Rojo's problem was that he ran his mouth too early but there are other concerns similar to what recently happened over at Belmont that possibly tapped the brakes. There is growing concern amongst power brokers regarding the emperor and his fashion sense... Texags users are either sunshine pumpers or suffer BAS but that doesn't mean they/we are "always wrong."
Depending on the "other shoe" Rojo mentioned it may or may not cause a full meltdown... Rolling with his metaphor: if you wear Yeezys (whatever the hell that is... I'm old) but lost them and settled for Ferragamos (maybe not traditional SEC/Texas-style) you are still upgrading... May not workout but it's a higher-end shoe (don't quote $ with me as it's a general reference, and I no longer practice journalism but am more of a snobby bean counter).
Having said that -- and again not claiming certainties a la Rojo -- it would not be a ginormous shock if there was another transfer...
