It seems Richardson was pulled in the third quarter of every game (except LSU), unlike Henry. Plus he split carries with another running back (unlike Henry). Lastly, Henry had the benefit of playing in a conference title game.
If Trent had played all four quarters without splitting time with Lacey, Henry doesn't break his record and Bubba Gump down at Baylor probably doesn't win it.
