Not getting OU in the Semis? Not sure OU having a month to prepare for Bama would have ended well for the tide.

I was not really worried about OU. For Bama to win that game all they have to do is control the trenches. This front 7 does it better than any I've seen in a while. OU's offense is based on timing and moving fast to catch defenses of guard. They can't nor do they want to try and match strength. QBs aren't as accurate when they don't have a lot of time to throw and with Tim Williams on the edge you only have 3 seconds at best

I just had a horrible dream that I've been working all week. Glad I just now woke up and it's still Sunday.

Ya because Saban has proven to be such a bad coach when he gets a bunch of time to prepare.

Not really. I think that they are a good team, but they are far from what would be considered "scary."

They beat up on a beat up big 12, and got beat up by a porous Texas team.

Lets look at it from a totally meaningless angle.

OU lost to Texas who lost to Iowa St who lost to Toledo......

If Bama or OU are to win the title, they may well have to go through each other. So no, they didn't dodge a bullet. Neither OU nor Bama are going to completely reinvent their offenses/defenses for the playoff run

OU is a worse matchup than MSU for us IMO.

Regardless, gotta beat whoever they put in front of you.

Strong possibility we play OU anyway.

I think many Bama fans would tell you the biggest bullet they dodged was OSU crapping the bed. They won't say they fear OSU, because they shouldn't, but they know OSU has a ton of talent and Meyer knows how to use it.
