What if I told you I say "you guys" way more often than "y'all"? But I say it with a kind of mid-south/Texas-ish twang...
like "you geiiiiiis". Pronounced how southerners pronounce "liiight".
Like I'm waaay more apt to say "so where you guys from?" than "where y'all from?"
