I've never seen an oak tree worth almost $800,000.00. He should have appealed the price gouging judge's ruling. The tree would have to have been made of gold. It wasn't like the trees were making the university money. The actual value of that oak if it were cut for the wood would be roughly $100.00. I could see the judge upping the value to teach him a lesson but it should have been $5,000 not $800,000. he should have poisoned the eagle it would have been cheaper

Well shite, if someone burns your house we'll just estimate restitution based on the value of the scrap remnants, deal?

Honestly, I think the judge did an assessment of all the real estate that Auburn owns in Harvey's head and determined what a fair rent would be.
$100/month in perpetuity sounds like a good deal for Harvey.
I will give Harvey credit though...
