He's trying to do damage control and make it look like he did a good thing. He is a fricking quitter and will always be remembered as a quitter that walked out on his players when it got tough. Not the kind of guy you want to be in a fox hole with.

Spurrier's idea of a fox hole is a bunker at Amen Corner. So yes I would gladly share a fox hole with him.
