Georgia AD has a serious set of stones. Firing a guy like Richt after a 9-3 season and losing his best player is wild. He better have his replacement set in stone and be a home run hire or else he'll be packing his bags in a couple years.

He is going to win 10 games in 4 out of 5 seasons and he gets fired

Who pulls the trigger 1st
I started that like a month ago. I guess UGA grew balls and LSU nutted up.

And without Chubb, too. Crazy for sure.

We still had Chubb when we got destroyed by Bama.

Ah right, forgot...he had the huge run in that game. My B.

There had to be serious breakdown in discussion either last night or this morning. AD may have placed staff ultimatum on Mark that he refused to concede to.

Anybody could have won 6 games in this division the past 3 years.

Well played UGA. Let LSU catch all the shite. Well played indeed.

Wasn't UGA Richt's first HC job?
Be interesting to see if they are willing to go the coordinator route again or if the football landscape has changed so much they feel the need to get someone with HCing experience.
UGA administrators must have been loving the past 10 days of the LSU shitshow - it sucked ll the oxygen out of the room and allowed them to get this done behind the scenes.

Richt loses his best player and still goes 9-3 and gets fired. Georgia comes out smelling like roses. LSU actually keeps its coach and comes out smelling like Andy Dufresne after his crawl through a river of shite.
Our administration is so smooth.

Pruitt and Schottenheimer got in an altercation that turned physical.

This is actually pretty genius. Might as well take a shot at him accepting a recruiting coordinator/office position with the team, the worst he can say is no and it makes UGA look a lot better in the ordeal. He may surprise everyone and do it.

He threw a football at an operations guy at a practice. No biggie.

There are reports saying he's stepping down, not fired.
