Have you actually even been to Jordan-Hare?

Every single person that you talk to either already has a B.S., either went there, or has someone going there in the mean time.

Jordan-Hare is not that big as far as "fan-interaction" is concerned.

There is just not very many wild, t-shirt fans or side-walkers from us as you would come to expect from 'Bama.

That is all I am saying.

Don't be bashful, Mr. Lang. You pity us fools for having the GUMPtion of liking a winner - like a red-blooded American. ;)

Maybe most of the people that don't have to root for the team of the school they graduated from chose to pick a good team.

'97. '99, '01, '03, '09, '11 Iron Bowls I'm not going this year and don't plan to go back.

31-7 was the most fun b/c I was the right age. That made us bowl-eligible, 6-5

Honk if you sacked Brodie was the worst

May possibly be the most ridiculous sentence I've ever read on this site, all boards included.

My friends, this is the false misguided perception AU fans try to convince everyone to achieve this false sense of superiority over everyone. Just like any smaller college built on trying to beat the bigger college in state, they claw and scratch at anything they can to gain some moral ground to seem superior. Its just that in Lee County, the delusion is amplified by at least 100. They want everyone to believe their grads got accepted into Harvard, but chose Auburn because in their own backward arse narcissistic mind, they are this tightly close family-oriented college that breaks triple figure grads on an annual basis. Somehow every other school in the nation, especially Alabama, has more sidewalk fans than they do. Yet, most walk around with t-shirts they have found come from either the yard sale near their trashy trailer homes their students stay in, and their graduate rings were bought at Toomers Drug store. They want the nation to believe that most their fans love Auburn, and most Bama fans only love Bama football, but cannot grasp the statistics that Bama fans support more sports, give the university more money than they do, and have better attendance than all sports than they do. They want you to believe that their fans have went to AU, andin actuality, anyone who has driven through Auburn, has automatically received an associates degree.

Three of my closest friends graduated from Vanderbilt, Rhodes College, and Birmingham Southern. They were all big Bama fans as kids and to this day are still big Bama fans who go to several Bama games each season. A lot of the "sidewalk" Bama fans are like them in that they went to college somewhere else but have remained Bama fans. Even know a few that went to Auburn and still remain big Bama fans to this day.
