No way they let Miles go without a replacement already committed (Jimbo or maybe a Shawn Payton type). They DO NOT want to end up like Texas who canned Brown thinking they were getting a Ferrari, but ended up with a '97 Celica.........

Texas Stayed with Brown too long.
Charlie Strong was a pretty good hire, Brown drove that program into the ground before he left.
