I definitely agree with you all it's time for a change when resources,talents and expectations are not met and a decline is very clear. I think most here are knowledgeable fans,but don't mind poking fun at LSU.

Most SEC fans like Les Miles Goofy but straightforward personality. Jimbo would make an excellent hire also.

Question 1. How was all this stuff leaked about Les retiring in 2016 and potential firing, and why at this point of the season the AD and boosters allow the speculation to surround the program?

Question 2. Jimbo being you guys prime target, Wouldn't it been best for LSU for it to be a closed door conversations. Mr.Sexton is involved so he could burn you guys and get Jimbo a nice extension from FSU.

Final Question. What are you guys 2nd and 3rd options if preferred Candidates do not take the job?

re Question 1: I think the silence from the AD means that he is trying to lock down a future coach before going public on CLM.

Other questions: who knows.

It's been boiling over ever since 1/9/12. Les hasn't been able to make a change in his offensive gameplan for four years now with multiple starters in the NFL coming through LSU. The expectations coupled with the way in which we lost these past three have made all the fans stand up in unison to say that we need a new voice or we are never winning even 8 games again.

LSU has kept a closed door on the talks. It's ESPN and talking heads that have got their "sources" and have been trying to get a lead on a story. Alleva keeps saying no choice will be made til after the season.

Tom Herman is my first choice. Jimbo is my second choice. Mullen is my third choice. I think all of them are HUGE upgrades over Miles. If you can't get any one of those, this will be a monumental frick up of epic proportions. Although, tRant will make fun of anyone we hire

1) For the past couple seasons the fire Les crowd has been loud after the 1/9/12 debacle, but most fans still stood by Les and never thought he would be fired because his record was very good and they liked the guy. After the loss to Bama this year making it five in a row and the blowout loss to Arkansas you started to hear from reporters and insiders saying boostesr are tired of Les and he is gone. No big deal because that usually happens after a couple of bad loses but no one inside ie: the AD came out and said anything. To me I think it has been on purpose, Alleva has remained quiet meaning all the chatter is true and Alleva has decided Les is gone after the season.

2) I think closed door conversations have and are still happening. With who the frick knows.

Edit: I am not a insider. Just IMO.
