We can use Sagarin if you wish? Or Massey. Or basically any other computer analysis.

All have Alabama in the top 3. All say Alabama has played a Top 10 schedule.

it was never my point that Alabama has played an easy schedule. Alabama has, however, played an easier schedule than the numbers would imply. They have done this because their schedule is loaded with two types of teams, teams with power run centric offenses, and teams with inferior talent. the one team that does not fit either of these categories beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
I believe Alabama would lose two games with Stanford's schedule because Stanford's schedule includes are more challenging variety of schematics.
